Siltcoos pano
Yesterday was a day of the most terrible weather : 24 hours of such strong winds that the furniture on the deck was blown in all directions, that the siding of the house rattled and the bushes (Rhododendrons and Camelia) lost most of their blossoms. It was scary. That was combined with strong Rain downpours so consistent that Maggie and I did not go for a walk, for the first time ever.
For the few times I went out with her to do her business, she had to wear her fancy blue raincoat which she hates so much that she disappears to her bed as soon as I have it on her :-) .
Well, we survived and today was a much nicer day. So, after church in the morning, we were able to do a nice walk on the high border of the Siltcoos river. The tiny white strip in the far distance , are the waves that are still pretty wild today. ( Maggie Managed to fall into the Siltcoos river, to make up for her raincoat yesterday. So I came home with a stinky wet dog:-))
Unfortunately there are many beaches that we are not allowed to go to after Match 15, to protect the tiny Plovers who are nesting in the areas behind the beach.
Thanks folks for all your kind feedback!!
Much appreciated!
