8th April. 1 year.

On 8th April 2017 Dr D and I went our separate ways after 6 years. A story waiting to be told, but not today.

A lot has changed in the last 12 months, apart from the obvious.

It was a good decision to come to Aberdeen today... meet Gus and Paula for coffee and then participate in Fin’s storytelling event. I enjoyed it all.

Will it still seem like a good idea when I get up at 5:30 tomorrow?

It looked and felt like spring today. That was good too.

It was good to be walking the streets of Aberdeen tonight, heading back to the hotel - a story around every corner.

My attempts at photos during the storytelling event are too dreadful for words, so the Park Inn by Radisson will have to do.
