Nail clipping catastrophe

I had one important job to do today, and that was to clip the dog's nails which were far too long.  I hate doing it and she hates it being done. she wriggles and tries to get away, so I called in reinforcements (Martin) and he held the dog still whilst I clipped.

In my haste to get it done quickly I made a mistake, the dog yelped, blood poured out and she walked it all across the floor before hiding in her bed and refusing to come out for 3 hours.  

I think that explains the look, and I'm hoping she (and Martin) will forgive me soon.
