For Winnie

Today my son Nick with his friends Louie and Kevin ran the Paris marathon.
Nick was running for Winnie. Winnie is the daughter of his friends Steve and Emma who has brittle bones and a vary rare blood disorder.
She is a such a sweet little thing and always has a smile for you despite having over 30 broken bones in her 15 month old life.
She needs constant care which will be lifelong.
I can’t tell you how proud I was of Nick, Louie and Kevin today. It wasn’t the easiest of conditions to run a marathon in as it was so hot. Ok for us spectators mind you.
This evening they have had some well deserved beers and Nick has raised over £3,500 towards his £4,000 target.
Every penny will go to Winnie and her needs.
