Daffs at Oakworth Station

Took big sis around one of 'The Railway Children' walks today, all very pleasant with the hint of spring warmth.  (Oh no, ...I feel the need to get the DVD out......again!) A visit to Oakworth station where the nostalgia glowed with the warmth of the spring day and gentle heat of the real fire.  Daffs on the tables and windowsills.... how very pretty indeed, and oh the most delightful young man (I'd say about 15) Oliver, in extra.  He was in charge of the station, doing a most efficient job.  His knowledge and exuberance were refreshing and how sweet of him to pose for me.  He lives within sight of the station and has grown up loving the steam trains and line, and now volunteers all day, most Sundays.... bless him!
