... of the Scarlet Tiger Moth (Callimorpha dominula), if I'm not mistaken! At about one inch long, it looked a very small and vulnerable critter to be crawling along the edge of the A379. At least the road is less busy since the sea's erosive action closed a section of the coast road.

This morning our daughter left, so it seems rather quiet, though sunny and mild (for a while).
