Le Chenal de Gua - Water everywhere

Le Chenal de Gua is an inland waterway running across the Gironde peninsula. It runs through an area full of wildlife and plants, and is popular with cyclists and bird watchers. After the recent heavy rains a lot of the paths have become flooded. Today's blip was taken overlooking the junction of two paths. To the left and right of the photo are two lines of trees, which stand alongside the pathways. Clearly waders would have been required for walking along them today.
The first extra shows one of the picnic tables surrounded by the water.

We walked along one of the dry cycle paths alongside a lake surrounded by bird watchers' hides. When we approached the lake, we initially thought there was going to be plenty of wildlife on the lake for a  blip. However, it was only when I was taking the photo in today's 2nd extra that I realised they were, in fact, wooden decoys merrily bobbing about on the water!
