Coffee Break

I treated myself to a wee coffee break late afternoon when I popped out for some bits and bobs at the local shops.

I ticked a few things off my 'little jobs when I have time' to do list today when our current guest practised the Airbnb ethos of 'living like a local' when he offered to go to our local hardware shop with me and help buy a replacement hose and wall fitting for our roof terrace....and then actually fitted it on the wall for us!  He then patiently showed me how to use the electric drill and what all the little drill pieces are used for, so I then spent a happy couple of hours going round our patio and drilled drainage holes in the various containers - another tick!  Last, but not least, I washed an.outside wall on the patio that had rain marks running down it - half a tick there: Bb will earn the other half when he does the very top part which I couldn't reach! 

Then I had this coffee break in the corner cafe on Josep Tarradellas.
