Old wood still good wood.

So, they've finally sold the flat a couple along from us. Banging and clattering are par for the course, as we recall from doing the same back in '96. This, however is a travesty...the original door frames, the doors, and the wooden panelling from under the windows...all from 1914! They survived the war, they survived the bizarre communist insistence of ripping out all that was attractive and replacing it with shite, but they couldn't survive whoever bought the flat. A sad day for wood.
