More beautiful bottle brushes

These ones on DB’s main road. I don’t remember the bottle brush trees blooming as nicely as they are this year.

They always remind me of my mother-in-law as she is the one who first told me what they were, when we lived in Cyprus. She thought that they only existed in Australia!

Ventured out into Tung Chung late afternoon as Martin needs some new hiking boots, and we reckoned Columbia would have some at the outlet mall there.

Purchase made and a quick bite to eat before meeting some friends at the tables back in DB. There was a cold breeze ... feels like it’s winter again.
