Too late/too early

Shortly after 5 o'clock the light gave us a farewell display to let us know what complete idiots we are for putting the clocks back tomorrow. The air became orange, the clouds turned deep grey and hundreds of startled seagulls took to the sky, wheeling, turning and catching the orange light. By the time I'd got my camera out of my bag most had gone.

So this is a memento. The next time the sun sets this 'late' will be in 19 weeks time on 2 March 2013. I wish I was a tortoise.

Many thanks for all the kind comments yesterday. My windows reached spotlight, which I mostly like to think I don't care about. Until it happens!
