Giants

Up at almost the crack of dawn, we headed down to Morpeth to set up our stall in the Town Hall, as part of the Craft Fair at the Morpeth Northumbrian Gathering.

Half-way through the morning I went out to watch the Pageant, and bringing up the rear of the parade were the Sheffield City Giants, War and Peace. After the Pageant the Giants danced in the street - quite a spectacle - before the rain started.

A good day, but a long one! Lots of interest in our instruments but, by the time we put them in their cases and packed the stall away at 6.00pm, MrM and I were both shattered. Planning a relaxing evening!
