First hike

Today we went away on the first hike for this year. (Not in my new shoes, but wellies). The road was terrible! Icy, muddy or slush. I had expected more bare road, but no. 
The footpath was also icy and slippery. We could after all go to our favorite spot by the lake. Of course the picnic tasted great. That is the best on our walks, the picnic!
