For the first time this year walked the footpath through Betty’s Wood in St Ives

It’s been closed for sometime whilst felling of the diseased larch trees was in progress - the chainsaw carvings have been left in situ - new planting of broadleaf species is to take place - is and will be a different landscape - but hopefully still a bewitching one
