City Park in the rain.......

Rain on and off for most of the day, and because we had an appointment with a telephone engineer for between 12 noon and 4 pm I knew I had better go out early unless I wanted to miss out altogether.  It was warmish, so the rain didn't seem too bad, but everywhere looked a little bleak.  

The engineer arrived exactly at 12 noon and it took him about an hour to fix the problem, however the people that monitor the alarm still aren't receiving a signal so that means come Monday I'll have to contact the alarm company.  I can't complain though as I the fault only came to light yesterday morning, so I think we've not been put out too much at all.
