Lots of Clocks

I took an old mantle clock of mine for repair to a local, old fashioned watch and clock repair shop. I always find these places fascinating, clocks of every shape and size, some very old, with an antique value. My clock was of little value apart from sentimental, and was not cost effective to have serviced and repaired.  I was advised to have the clockwork replaced by an analogue movement  Very sad to lose the sound of the tick tock, but at least I still have the clock............it's not the same though !!
