Brutalist Oxford
There is more to Oxford's architecture than pretty honey-coloured limestone colleges ! This is the Denys Wilkinson Building from the 1960s, a manifestation of New Brutalism at Oxford University's Department of Physics. The fan-shaped structure used to house a Van de Graaff generator.
I noticed it on my nighttime recce around the city on Thursday evening, and made a note to return today when I again visited Mum. It has held my attention from my childhood days in Oxford.
