Bristol nights

Cathy and I have had that rare thing, a Friday night out together after work. Normally we are so pleased to get home after the working week that we are happy not to bother: how dull we must have become.

Instead, this evening we had dinner at Côte in Bristol and then went to see Beautiful - the Carole King musical at the Hippodrome.  It was a truly excellent show and well worth seeing, if you have the Tapestry album in your collection.

Cathy is very fond of Carole King’s music, so this was a particularly good treat for her.

On the way back to where we parked the car, I stopped to take this shot of the office building at night.  It almost looks nice!  Still, its the weekend now, so I don't have to think about work any more for a couple of days - phew :-)
