Pretty flamingo

A lovely day spent exploring Cagliari without ( within the old town where we are staying ( il Castello) can wait for a dull day when we can duck into museums etc) but today was gloriously sunny. We walked down to the marina then along a cycle / walking path to the salt flats nature reserve where flamingoes live. We then walked down to the beach and caught some rays, watched the kite surfers and had lunch before wandering back. Late afternoon on the west facing sun terrace before dinner and some very good red. Great first day .
