Beach life

Djeili loves the sandy beaches that you can find along the river! She's digging it ;) We walked 14km by the river today, so plenty of spots for playtime. 

Djeili's pal Rieke had a very bad day, she was hit by a car going 70-80km/h! Poor little baby :( 
She is lucky not to have died, only limping and hurting all over, but they found a little internal bleeding that will hopefully be OK tomorrow so that no emergency surgery is needed. Vet took her home to check on her all night long. Keep your fingers and paws crossed, please!
