Sitting
Eda is sitting in her own high chair now but is not quite sitting without support yet.
Grace had some work to do today so after early morning granny sitting Eda had her porridge, which she likes and then had a nap.
I puréed some pears and some apples ready to freeze. We tried some out with her at lunch time. The carrot I'd made last time we were down was not too well received but the pear with some baby rice was more readily accepted.
Here she is nice and clean after another nap sitting in the high chair whilst we had lunch.
We took a little trip out in the afternoon intending to visit a cafe with a garden at the Buddhist Centre in Bishopstone. It was one of the those days with a warm breeze and it was actually warmer out of the house than in. Sadly we were too late and the cafe had closed so we'll have to give a try another time. Didn't stop us of course, we carried on down to Bakers and had coffee and cake. Eda sat on the table but they brought her a little clip on seat which was rather too big.
Tried her with carrot again for tea this time mixed with some baby rice. Much more successful. Just have to keep on trying and gradually reduce the rice.
Nice to have another warm day and get some washing dried out doors.
