Charity shop sofa-bed

Here is the new acquisition that I mentioned yesterday. Doesn't it look fine? I think it's brand new. If not, it's in excellent condition.

This purchase has inspired me to have a bit of a clear-out of my study. Two boxes of books have already been delivered to the same charity shop that sold me the sofa-bed. Tomorrow Mr hazelh will be required to answer for every cable and lead in the curver boxes that have resided unopened in this room for the past few years. I may even throw out the computer disks that hold the back-ups of my PhD thesis!

The rest of the day has been spent making changes to our summer holiday schedule, including some cancellations necessitated because the oncologist told me yesterday that I will not be up for cycling 400+ miles in June :-(

I also made a trip up to town to browse soft furnishings (no blue cushions to my taste were discovered - yet) and call in on Véronique and Tzippi for tea and a biscuit.

Exercise today: a little walking (6611 steps)
