Unspoilt Ullswater!

What a beautiful day spent up in The Lake District, ever beautiful and ever different. Mum and I got the first Steamer of the day from Glenridding to Hometown enjoying wonderful views all around Ullswater. 

We got off at Howtown to walk back to Glenridding along the Ullswater Way. It's a walk that is up and down, taking you to the lake shore, through woodland and onto rocky paths to provide panoramic views. 

The weather began cloudy but we were treated to lovely warning sunshine and even the wind didn't feel cold!! 

We came home to Yorkshire over Kirkstone Pass, what a treat that was!
