A short morning at work, then Lin came to meet me and we went to the care home to see Jeanie's doctor. We had arranged to chat with her and to organise a "Do not resuscitate" form.Keith came too. Jeanie needed lots of re assurance today, we stayed with her to encourage her to eat, she seems to have lost the ability to use a knife and fork, and ate very little of her main course, refusing after a couple of tiny amounts on a fork, but ate her strawberry mousse, either scooping it on her fingers or being fed by us. We took her for a little walk around the grounds, which she enjoyed but it was quite breezy.
Afterwards we went to Dinton Pastures for a cuppa and scone and a chance to recover from a rather emotional time.
Back home and the sun was still shining so I washed my sheets and got them out in the garden.
