First cut

A lovely fine day and Normous gave the lawn its first cut. It is so good to smell the new cut grass, and have the stripes again. Our garden is quite free draining, so despite the fact that we seem to have had incessant rain of late, the lawn was dry enough to be mown. I was in the garden too, just tidying up. There is a lot of colour in the garden now.
