a summer afternoon
As the sun dances its way down to my arms and legs, I feel dizzy with the sweet aroma of the magnolias and jasmines and roses. I lay back, the sun gets angry with my eyelids. But then the feeling softens.
Everything softens.
The sky softens, the song of the robins softens, the colours of the afternoon soften. The soil softens, driving me in like a swamp... and then everything disappears, annihilates.
Only the sweet aroma of the flowers linger on a little more.
