Vogüé

Described by Dexter as the most miserable town in France!

He was in a grump because he still can’t use the pool and it has been pouring down with thunder so we were trying to find something to do inside. We found a cool looking chateau, checked the times on the website and headed off. The chateau was of course closed (none of the websites we’ve checked seem to be accurate). It had stopped raining so as it was such a pretty town decided to have an explore. Dexter whinged and whinged saying how bored he was. When we pointed out that his sister wasn’t complaining she replied “I feel the same but I’ve learned to keep it to myself!”
This did make us laugh!
We found a little cafe for hot chocolate overlooking the river. The kids loved going off to explore on their own and of course didn’t want to leave!
