Advice please

Looking in these eyes, surrounded by a big ball of sleek fur, you would be forgiven for thinking he is a cute kitten. OH HOW WRONG YOU ARE. He is a monster in training. He goes from being an absolute cutie to trying to use my arm as a tree and tries to climb up. He just digs his teeth and claws in and hey presto, a tree! He is not being vicious, just very boystrous. He is 5 months and is becoming a teenager!!!!!!

Any advice on neutering? Not words I have typed often!!! How long does it take for them to recover as I was thinking of getting him 'done.' Any advice to de teenage my kitten? Body looking rather scratched now. Looking rather like a road map :-(
