Semi-successful shopping trip to London, only partly washed out by heavy rain on Oxford Street.

Even though the weather is what we may call unseasonal and layers were needed, I made the mistake of donning a woollen jumper, which was very sweat-inducing. I don't know why wool has remained a key clothing fabric. Maybe I'd appreciate it if I was on an alpine crag, but I overheated in Uniqlo.
