Happy Day

The pigs were enjoying the sunshine this morning and it was their lucky day! A kind lady who has a small holding just a few miles from work takes in rescued animals has been able to offer them a permanent home. A local farmer was good enough to offer to bring along his trailer and transport them to their new home - apparently this will initially be a warm stable until they are nursed back to good health, then they have a field to run around in. The lady had already got them their worming medicine and some lotion for their sore skin. Some of us are going to go up and see how they are getting along and we also had a whip around at work to raise some money to cover the initial cost of getting them some food and for veterinary costs.
