CyclopsJnr's first functional train journey!

Didn't think we'd get there! He went to holiday club at nursery in the morning and we had one hour between pickup and the train. But MrsCyclops got stuck in gridlock and was 20 mins late for pickup (first time late) leaving not enough time to be sure to get the bus into town. So, black cab ordered (needed to fit the bike in) and it came immediately. At the station in time to get a comic.

So, Edinburgh to Oxenholme / Windermere for CyclopsJnr and MrsCyclops with no problems. Easy and pleasant. Played with the comic, looked out the window at the snow and lambs, watched an episode of Paw Patrol on YouTube. Talked to another family on the connecting train. The time passed quite quickly.

Grandma met us at the station and we walked / biked home. Playing and dinner.

CyclopsJnr has behaved beautifully. If a little excitably.
