When a chap is watering his shoes why on earth would his mother get a tiny bit upset and demand he puts his boots on.

Which he did and then was not happy at all and began to whimper.

It was then that his mum remembered that he’d put his toy motorbike in his boot for safe keeping (and why not - very sensible when your big brother might nick it) which as why he was having some difficulty in walking!
