Temporary pond

We more or less reversed the day, choosing to go out for a short walk first thing, when it was dry but misty. We feared it might be raining later. In fact, the weather actually improved slighty, and mid afternoon there was even a hint of sun.

It was soggy and grey out there, but none the less surprisingly photogenic.

By Saturday, when we can expect sun again, the snow should all be gone.

[For the record, I want to add that after having slept really badly last night, I took drastic action on my twitter timeline to mute words that were giving me distress. And reduced my access to the app by removing it initially from one device. This has already contributed to an improved mood. And hopefully a good night's sleep tonight.]
