First cut of the season

We don't have any real grass. We have artificial grass in our back garden. This area of grass is not ours. The houses here are 12 years old now and amazingly the local council have still not adopted the roads. The contractor working for the house builder had done the first cut of the verges just before Easter, but they always miss our verge out. It seems the people who lived here before us treated it like there own piece of land. But it's not. We did try and buy it when we bought the house but not allowed because of the amenities running underneath. So as in previous years I've rung and complained to the house builder and it will take a couple more phones calls going by past experience before we get on the contractors schedule. In the meantime we've cut the grass.
