Not Yet Flowering Current

The weather forecast for today was not good, but the weather seemed ok, so I did a load of washing and hung it out. What a mistake, as it rained, sleeted and snowed.  Not what we wanted on Easter Monday.

BB asked if we could got to North Berwick, so we set off after lunch.  What a mistake.  The weather got worse and  neither of us much wanted to go for a wander or a beach walk.  We went to the supermarket and did the weekly shopping instead, and then headed home.

I watched a bit of Paddington, and then BB watched a bit of Ghost Busters – they were both on TV and we didn’t seem to manage to catch the beginnings of either.

Later we both watched, and enjoyed, Wonder the movie, based on the book of the same name which I have just read. Let’s hope the weather is better tomorrow.

I spotted this flowering current this morning – not quite in flower yet, it’s too cold.
