C'est la vie

Bellac has had to wait. We have returned to Montmorillon in order to sign the Compromis on our house purchase. This time we have parked in the motorhome Aire by the side of the Gartempe. The estate agent's office is just around the corner and a 10 am appointment will not be difficult to keep.

It is a warm and sunny day and I fear that I may have burned my arms sitting out by the river with our pre-dinner drinks. Dinner itself was a cold chicken salad. Yes, spring has finally arrived and is actually looking quite like summer.

Depending on news to be received in the morning, we may well go up to Saint Pardoux tomorrow.
