Middle finger!

I’ve seen two GPs about the lump on my middle finger. One tried steroid cream, with no success. The other tried antibiotics, to no avail, so I was referred to a dermatologist.

Today, I saw the dermatologist. She said “Ooh, I don’t know what that is” and is going to refer me to a hand surgeon.

Apparently, the hand surgeon will either:
a) know what it is (and presumably know how to treat it), or
b) need to cut it off to find out what it is (which presumably will BE the treatment!)

It does make life awkward, because I’m left handed..
