A close encounter

The forest was officially closed today due to high winds. However I’ve experienced this before and find them overly cautious so I ventured in and promised to stay off the small trails. In order to be ‘sensible’ I did an out and back run using exactly the same route. There were no problems on the way out although the noise of the wind in the trees was quite scary. I was pretty alarmed that 20 minutes after I had ran down this road there was a huge fallen tree blocking my path on the way back. My husband wasn’t impressed with me.
