Night Flight

Photography wise I've had a bad day. Its been lovely and sunny but all my attempts at trees in autumn were useless then while sat looking out into the garden a few minutes ago I saw the moon rising and popped out top try to picture it. On slipping it into the computer I can now see just to the left and below the moon the silhouette of a flight of birds, in 'V' formation heading south west, on I should think their winter migration. To the naked eye they were invisible but their flight has been seem by the camera. Is it not fantastic that there above us in the dark these birds are off on an incredible journey.
