Onwards, upwards & downwards.

Lisbon, like Rome & indeed Edinburgh, is built on 7 hills: today we discovered most of them.

This morning saw us walking to Belem, taking in the river, then back by bus. 

Afternoon we headed downtown and then up and up and up to the castealo sao jorge where I braved the settlements. Needed a gin cocktail to recover and then dinner in taberna round corner from hotel with not one but two football games to watch.
