Wild Wednesday: Trying to take off

It is Wednesday today, so we had to make ourselves scarce (read out of the way for the cleaner).

We decided to head to a coffee place, armed with laptop and notebooks, and have a business meeting! It was good to get out and we ended up eating shawarmas by the beach. It is definitely getting too hot to do that with the windows down though.

My blip is really about how I feel atm. G remains so buoyant and positive. It was especially apparent when after ages, we were able to speak to a friend of ours who lives up in Jedburgh. We'd lost touch over the years, and today we had a big catch up. She sounds just as we did when we first met her in her 60's. She's now 82!
