Edinburgh

One of our Christmas treats was two nights in Edinburgh sans children. It’s been over three years since we had a night away from the kids and it nearly didn’t happen after yesterday’s events. However my brother and sister-in-law came to the rescue and insisted that our kids could stay with them as Grandma was too weak to look after the kids. It was a tough decision, especially as Dex vomited at 6:00am this morning. However he made a miraculous recovery and I was talked into going to Edinburgh. I feel guilty but at least I’m not too far away.

We had a lovely potter around Edinburgh and then we were invited to Dave’s home for a meal with him and Luca. We had a wonderful evening catching up with them and have made arrangements to see them tomorrow evening.
