Good Morning Mr Magpie

I cannot see a magpie without saying good morning to him - taught to me from a very small age by my Nan and something I do to this day. Apparently saying good morning to a single magpie stops them passing bad luck onto you (one for sorrow?). Funny what traditions/old wives tales we have.
