The old and the new

Had a pleasant shop in Birmingham today. The sunshine was lovely, but the wind was bitterly cold.

This tower can be seen for miles around Birmingham. It looked very clean and fresh today. It was intersting to see that the one in London no longer has its microwave transmitters. I suppose this on is the same now.

There are still plenty of old buidings left in Birmingham, although some are now just facades with modern buildings hidden behind them.
