Just in time...!

We wondered if we might miss the magnolias this year. The buds have been ready to open for a few days; just waiting for some sunshine. And today we had some sunshine and it was almost like time lapse photography, watching them open. The daffodils and hyacinths are looking good too, so making a good kitchen window view! My extra.

Well, Jessops have let me down and when I asked for an SD card as compensation, they said that wasn't possible. I said I would think twice about using them for repairs should I need any in the future, I bought my Fuji from them with the extended guarantee which is why I took it back for the repair. So I am really pleased to have the Lumix to take away with me. Just hope I can remember all I was told about it...

D has been out all day, on a walk with our friend Bob, and this evening to the History Club meeting and AGM. LOTS of planning proposals in the borough and the council seem to be doing very little to preserve our green spaces and are allowing too many tall developments to block the skyline. There is even a proposal to build on my old college grounds! The grounds once belonging to the palace of Bishop of Rochester....I jolly well hope not!
