Embellishment

Rain interspersed with the odd bright spell. Flood warnings abound. If the flood works had not been completed we would be underwater by now in Pickering. Fortunately the defences are holding.

We had a trip up to Cawthorne Camps today as the paths are surfaced. At the start of the walk a glove had been draped on the sign (see extra). I liked the decoration....possibly a butterfly. Someone will be disappointed to have lost this.
