Lock, Stock and Barrell
We’ve had to change our front door lock. It’s a long story but basically our cleaner has done a bunk. She has a front door key, hasn’t turned up for 3 weeks and is not answering calls or messages. We didn’t feel happy going away and leaving the lock as it was so D has changed it.
We’ve done a lot of washing and packing and been over to see a friends new puppy .
Poppy’s gone to a party and Alf is at footy training. I’ve dropped Bertie at my mums and whizzed over to Sainsbury’s to get plenty of dog and cat food.
Stressful moment of the day was when I jumped out of the car at the post office and forgot to put the handbrake on. It rolled forward and into a parked car. Luckily, I knew the owner and no harm was done.
Less haste, more speed comes to mind but I never did understand what that meant!
