Spring trying hard to arrive

Another walk around the lake today. The geese were announcing their territory on one side of the island whilst the seagulls defended the other.

I found these pretty spring flowers planted in an old boat at the side of the lake. The village is very good at keeping the seasonal flowers tidy and up to date in several places aroubd our village.
