Aapo has brought us a lot of joy and hilarious moments, but I still get these
fits of grief and longing over Kalle's departure. I'm happy I told him every day how much I loved him.

Just the other day I felt the first warm throb of heart for Aapo. Kittens aren't really there for you, like grown-up pets are, but I'm sure that all you pet-lovers know that's what they are for – to be loved.
