Burgh Hall (Academy Building)

A magnificent example of French Gothic architecture.

This building should be a significant landmark in the 'Shire and to be fair for a number of years it was. In recent time - 30 years or more - it's been left to rot following a fire in 1980s.

It's now going to be part of West Dunbartonshire Council's new offices and is scheduled for completion very soon.

Already there is an improvement.
